Donald Trump has announced he is focused on buying the Buffalo Bills in response to the rumored interest by rockstar Jon Bon Jovi in the historic franchise.

The report comes from the Buffalo News who reports that Trump has interest in keeping the team in Buffalo as well.

"I'm going to give it a heavy shot. I would love to do it, and if I can do it, I'm keeping it in Buffalo.”

The location of the Bills franchise has become the hottest debate surrounding the team considering the city’s history, Bon Jovi’s interest and the teams frequent visits to Canada to play “home” games.

"I live in New York, and it's easier for me to go to Buffalo than any other place," Trump said. "Where am I going to move it, some place on the other side of the country where I have to travel for five hours?”

This is great news for the people of Buffalo, but in the ever expanding NFL you have to think that both the chance to expanding outside the United States and Trumps history with the league could push the NFL to favor with an ownership group looking to move the team.

The battle for the Bills is a long way from over, but no matter who ends up with the team it looks to be in very capable hands.
