The WWE dance craze known as Fandangoing that really kicked into high gear last year on the post-WrestleMania 29 episode of Monday Night Raw could be in deep trouble. The man behind the dance - WWE's Fandango - just "dumped" his dance partner Summer Rae last week - first on Twitter and then on Friday Night SmackDown!, but that's not the real story behind the scenes in WWE.

The storyline-driven Twitter exchange between Fandango and Summer Rae was as follows:
"Hey, @RealSummerWWE. Read the text again. I'm sorry I'm not sorry..."
"The only one who is sorry is me, @WWEFandango ... Sorry you're not gonna have anyone to shave your back before #Raw every Monday."
However, the truth of the matter is that with the rise of Summer Rae's profile as both a breakout star on Total Divas and a solid in-ring competitor on WWE NXT, Monday Night Raw and SmackDown, there was no reason for Summer to be burdened by being with Fandango, who may have already - and sadly - hit his peak.

As for Layla, the former Miami Heat dancer will certainly complement Fandango well as his valet, and their new partnership has already provided dividends for him when she stole Santino's Cobra on SmackDown last Friday night to help secure the win:
However, I disagree with the idea that "Summertime is over." In fact, this is just beginning for Summer Rae, and to her credit, she deserves the final word on this subject, for now:
"@WWEFandango Of course you won with @mslayel. She is VERY experienced, right? That's what they call it now a days I think..."
Now that's a Total Divas-like response.
