WWE Network is once again offering free one-week trials to new subscribers as the world's top wrestling promotion tries to push towards the magic 1 million mark for total subscriptions. This could be seen as a panic move by WWE since they fell short of 1 million subscribers even with the same free trial being offered when they were able to guarantee that their fans would get to watch WrestleMania XXX if they signed up for the WWE Network before their biggest show of the year aired live from New Orleans on April 6th.

As a subscriber to the WWE Network, I do feel that the subscription is well worth the $9.99 per month price tag because the content that they have offered leading to WrestleMania XXX and after WrestleMania XXX has been nothing short of spectacular. In fact, a WWE Network exclusive documentary special entitled Daniel Bryan: Journey to WrestleMania XXX was so captivating that I had to watch it twice just to make sure I didn't miss anything.

In that special, Daniel Bryan's journey from the Indies to NXT to WWE is told from the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion's perspective, and it featured a mix of storyline-driven and out-of-character interviews with Seth Rollins, Cesaro, Brie Bella, John Cena, Pat Patterson, The Miz, Sheamus and Bryan himself.

Not only was the special filled with such great material, but WWE's top-notch production crew was out in full force, even though this special was only airing on the WWE Network.

My advice to any WWE fan -- new or old - is to take advantage of the WWE Network free trial being offered. For that kind of $9.99/month price tag after the free trial ends, it's well worth it since you get every monthly PPV, access to WWE's extensive archives that includes WCW and ECW PPVs, and, my favorite, exclusive content like WWE NXT and that Daniel Bryan special.
