A big move is expected within the top 10 of the NFL draft, but the teams and players involved keep changing. The latest of which involves the Vikings making a move that will land them Blake Bortles.

The Vikings are prime candidates to grab a quarterback in the first round and perhaps they learned their lesson from when they drafted Christian Ponder. The Vikings had fallen in love with Titans quarterback Jake Locker in that draft, but were under the assumption the Titans would be selecting Blaine Gabbert. The Vikings panicked in selecting Ponder once Locker and Gabbert had been drafted.

The Vikings have the firepower to satisfy the Rams' demands for the No. 2 pick, but will they make the move? The Rams got a king's ransom from the Redskins for the same pick, but that was for Robert Griffin III. Is Blake Bortles an even prospect to RGIII? No probably not, but the Vikings have plenty of Day 2 picks that could entice the Rams to make the move.

If the Vikings are serious about Bortles, they should not hesitate to make the move. This Viking team is the same one that stockpiled three first round picks in 2013 and turned it into three starters. Playing the other end of the spectrum and going all in on the guy you think can lead your teams isn't a bad idea.

The Rams are rumored to be leaning toward Buffalo’s Khalil Mack with the No. 2 pick if they choose to keep it. Auburn’s Greg Robinson and Clemson’s Sammy Watkins are also in play in St. Louis.
