According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Sting was sent his WWE contract to sign several days ago but as of this weekend he has yet to sign it and return it to the company. It was reported last week that he officially signed the deal, but those reports were false.

According to the report, both sides have agreed to terms and they've reached an agreement, but Sting and his side have yet to put the pen to the paper to sign the dotted line to make the deal official. There is reportedly no serious hold-up in the proceedings, and Sting is expected to sign soon.

WWE Monday Night RAW Preview

Prior to WrestleMania XXX, the WWE was reportedly working under the impression that Sting was on board with them, though he hasn't officially signed the deal. It is expected that Sting will be officially be a member of the WWE any day now.

It was rumored for months that Sting would appear at WrestleMania XXX and take on The Undertaker and his legendary undefeated streak, however the WWE opted to go with Brock Lesnar, and "The Beast" became the one to end The Streak last Sunday night in New Orleans.

It was then rumored that Sting --who is expected to be a huge part of the WWE in 2015 --would take on The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31, however with 'Taker losing The Streak and his future in wrestling a question as he may retire, Sting's role for next year's big show isn't known at this time.

It has been reported that Sting will likely wrestle at least one match for the WWE and it will likely be next year during WrestleMania, however while there are plans for him to be active in the ring, it won't be anytime soon. There have also been talks of him being a member of the 2015 Hall of Fame.

While Sting is expected to sign his deal any day now, he hasn't officially become a member of the WWE family yet.
