Though Paris Saint-Germain are flying atop the Ligue 1 table, the club is still handling the harsh reality of their UEFA Champions League exit. Chairman Nasser al-Khelaifi, however, insists a stronger PSG will ultimately prevail (h/t to Sky Sports). "We were very close to qualifying for the semi-final. The players made a big effort. They gave their very best," al-Khelaifi said.

"We were five minutes from the semi-final, but we accept it, that is football," he added.

"We will build a stronger and more experienced team. And I am convinced we will win that trophy soon."
