Two clubs in opposite conferences of MLS will do battle today in a league match between Toronto FC and the Colorado Rapids. The first-division clash scheduled for 4 p.m. ET will be held at BMO Field in Toronto and can be live streamed here.
Toronto FC enter today's match atop the Eastern Conference, but could be without serious firepower at BMO Field. Head Coach Ryan Nelsen confirmed to reporters on Friday that striker Jermain Defoe will miss Colorado's visit to Toronto. Michael Bradley's status, however, remains unknown (h/t to Armen Bedakian on MLS's official website). "I don't think Jermain is going to be ready. Michael, we're giving him every single chance," Nelsen said. " He's done his [training] stuff this morning and we'll make a decision tomorrow," he added.
"Michael just wants to play every single minute of every single game. It's a measure of the man. It's these slight things that have caught up to him, but we'll see tomorrow."
