Alabama national championship-winning quarterback A.J. McCarron and former Miss Alabama Katherine Webb have signed on to do a reality show in conjunction with their upcoming nuptials, according to the Plainsman.com.

The couple recently announced their engagement and are rumored to be planning a wedding that allows enough time for NFL hopeful McCarron to be in an NFL training camp by this summer.

"They've already started filming during the proposal," Laurie Webb, the bride-to-be's sister told the website. "From what I understood, it came from someone else. I don't think they were trying to get into a reality show, I think they just had the opportunity and decided to take it."

Laurie Webb later added a group of producers are now coming together to make the show, but it's still uncertain what network it will actually air on.

Katherine's mom, Leslie Webb, told the Plainsman.com networks started contacting them after Katherine was shown on TV at the BCS Championship game. Sources added producers are also unsure at this point how many episodes of the show will be filmed.

"We just had to get into wedding mode super quick," said Leslie Webb. "She's wanting to keep it in Alabama, but because it's such a short time frame, that might not be an option."
