Here at Sports World News we will count down each NFL teams’ 2014 draft needs and perfect fits. At the end of every team we will make a pick on who the team could take at their position.

2013 Review: The Cardinals are easily the best team in the NFL not to make the playoffs in 2013. If they didn't have to play the 49ers and Seahawks four times a year they could have won 12 games. Bruce Arians has Arizona playing great football, but the good times may be ending with Carson Palmer due to decline with his age. Arians worked miracles with his mediocre offensive line and should look to upgrade.

Needs:
Outside Linebacker:
John Abraham is turning 36 and the Cardinals have no proven rusher on the roster. A first day pick for Abraham’s heir could be in order and with the talent around the No. 20 area it could be the perfect time for the Cardinals to fill the need.

Offensive Tackle: Jared Veldheer was a great signing out the gate for the Carinals, but someone needs to be found for the right tackle slot. A third or fourth round pick could be inserted to compete and play in 2014, but at some point Arizona needs to fix their offensive line issues.

Quarterback: Carson Palmer is aging and who knows if he will be able to repeat his 2013 success. Young competition would not only benefit the Cardinals future, but possibly push Palmer to not flop. A player like David Fales, Tom Savage or Tajh Boyd would be a boost in the competition for the Cardinal quarterbacks.

Targets: Kony Ealy, DE/OLB, Missouri
Ra'Shede Hageman, DE/DT, Minnesota
Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan

Best First Round Fit: Kony Ealy, DE/OLB, Missouri
Ealy is everything the Cardinals want from a rush OLB and more. He can learn from Abraham while he grows into the role and can also play the opposite side while he is taught. Ealy has the potential to be the best OLB in the draft, but with the talent that comes from Anthony Barr and Khalil Mack, he should fir in nicely as the third best in the draft. The Cardinals should rush the passer more effectively in 2014
