WrestleMania XXX review and match grades
Lesnar hit 'Taker with his third F-5 of the match and pinned him in front of a shocked crowd to become the man to break The Streak as The Undertaker fell to 21-1 at the biggest show of the year. The crowd was stunned and silent after the loss as Lesnar triumphantly walked out of the Superdome.
It has been speculated that The Undertaker wanted The Streak to end before he retired, and it's possible that he lobbied for Lesnar to go over due to their real-life friendship and The Undertaker's fondness of UFC. Vince McMahon reportedly always wanted The Undertaker to keep The Streak, but it appears as though The Undertaker had the final say.
Perhaps no one was more shocked to see The Undertaker lose than this fan:
Whether or not 'Taker wrestles again remains to be seen, but it appeared as though the Dead Man could be done with wrestling after losing The Streak. 'Taker was reportedly injured during the match with Lesnar and taken to a local hospital for via ambulance after he appeared to suffer a concussion or neck injury. He was kept overnight for observation.
It had been speculated that The Undertaker would be facing Sting at next year's WrestleMania 31 in California, but now that The Streak is over it's unknown if the two will cross paths. Sting hinted over the weekend that he'd be at the event when he said his favorite number right now is 31.
Bryan won the opening match against Triple H cleanly by hitting the Knee Plus and then went on to defeat Randy Orton and Batista in the main event to claim the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after making Batista tap out to the Yes Lock. Bryan took to Twitter to thank the fans after the event:
WrestleMania XXX was a memorable and shocking event that has wrestling fans buzzing.
