LeBron James vows he won't take any games off over the season's last few regular season games, even if the two-time reigning MVP sees that other teams are taking that approach with their star players.
"I don't plan on sitting out any of these eight games unless something happens, James told Fansided.com. "I'm going to be in the lineup."
James may also be motivated by his apparent down-to-the-wire MVP battle with Oklahoma City star and league-leading scorer Kevin Durant. Most everyone will tell you the race is down to James and Durant and the last several games may give the other a chance to finally get a firm league up on the other.
With the Heat now leading the Indiana Pacers by percentage points for the overall best record in the Eastern Conference, James later added "it's never been part of my DNA. If I feel I can get something, I've got to be out there for my teammates. It's my obligation to be out there for them. I'm dealing with a few things but for me to sit out, I have to be dealing with a lot more."

The Heat currently have five teams [Indiana, Washington, Brooklyn, New York and Memphis] remaining on their schedule that would now qualify for the playoffs.
