Monday night's episode of Monday Night RAW was the go-home show heading into WrestleMania XXX this Sunday in New Orleans, however for one fan WrestleMania got all too real when rapper Wale punched him in the face.

According to TMZ, the rap star punched a heckler in the face, leading to security rushing to break up the fracas on the live Monday Night RAW episode that emanated from the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The fan later said on Twitter it was "just pushing in shoving" so the reports are conflicting.

The report alleges that Wale was seated behind WWE announcers Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler and John "Bradshaw" Layfield when a fan seated nearby began taunting him, according to Jawn Murray from AlwaysAList.com, who TMZ sourced as an eye witness to the event.

While with wrestling, the reality of these types of situations is always in question, the fact that the security guards rushed to break it up and it wasn't played up on television means that it wasn't a staged incident.

Murray described the incident after it happened.

"The next thing I know Wale is putting the smackdown on [the] dude. Punched him dead in his face. It was a full fight," Murray told TMZ.

While it's unknown what caused the two people to clash, there is speculation that it started on Twitter when the fan tweeted: "You at Monday Night RAW f---boy? Come see me in the ring and catch a stunner." The fan then reportedly told the rapper that he was seated a few rows away before everything happened. Wale seemed to shake off the incident as he was photographed hanging out with former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson, who is expected to sign with the Redskins any time now.

According to TMZ, after security broke up the fight, Wale and the fan were escorted into the hallway but eventually returned to their seats where Wale began to snack on popcorn as if nothing happened.

While most fans were in attendance to see some fighting in the ring, many of them witnessed an unannounced real-life attraction outside of the squared circle when Wale got into an altercation with the fan.
