Is newly-acquired forward Glen "Big Baby" Davis becoming a headache for the LA Clippers after he was escorted to the locker room during the Clippers' win over the Houston Rockets on Saturday night?

Davis was escorted by the team's security personnel to the locker room with 10 minutes left in the second quarter and missed the rest of the game for disciplinary measures, as per ESPN. The forward was obviously angry after he was replaced by Ryan Hollins, and exchanged words with coach Doc Rivers.

"Nothing went on with me," Rivers told ESPN after the game. "I thought Baby was just too emotional, and for me, if you're too emotional I always send you back to the locker room and keep you back there until the next game. I love Baby. I just didn't think emotionally he was ready to play tonight, so we told him to go to the locker room."
Davis was signed by the Clippers last February after he was waived by the Orlando Magic. However, he has not provided any significant help to the Clippers since joining them and is norming career-low averages in scoring (3.4 ppg) and rebounds (2.3) in 15 games for the team.

Rivers said that Davis won't be a distraction to the Pacific Division-leading Clippers.

"No, we're not going to get into the whole Baby thing; this has not been building," Rivers said. "He was emotional tonight, and we told him to go sit down. I just thought he was a distraction, and when guys are a distraction, I don't think they should be on the bench. If you're a distraction for anybody on the bench that should be paying attention to the game, then go sit in the back so our guys can watch the game."
