Thursday, Brodeur broke another record by becoming the NHL’s all-time leader in goals against with a second period goal by Coyotes Chris Summers. I use the Favre comparison because in his countless seasons, not only did Favre get the touchdown and yards records, but also had the league's record for most interceptions.

Brodeur passed Gilles Meloche and Grant Fuhr for the record with his 2,757 goal allowed in a NHL career. Brodeur has appeared in 226 more games than the next closest goalie with 1,256 including the NHL wins record 686 victories.

Brodeur debuted with the Devils in 1992 after being drafted in the first round of the 1990 draft. Now at 41-years-old owns one of those records that someone of his pedigree had no choice, but to run into.
