Tonight at 9:30 GMT, or 4:30 a.m. ET, the World T20 from Bangladesh continues when Australia locks horns with the West Indies at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur for some Group 2 play. Live stream the action for free here by clicking this link.
This matchup should be hotly contested, as both squads need good performances to ensure advancing to the semifinals. The West Indies side is currently second in the group based off their net run rate, while the Australians likely need a victory to have any hope of moving forward.
Expect the Australians to come out with intensity, as opener Aaron Finch described the squad's hard-nosed approach. "I guess it's not ideal to be in it after the first game but there is not a real lot we can do. We are an attacking team, an aggressive team so I think what you will see now is even more free-flowing play, more attacking play."
That mentality will be kicked into overdrive now that the Aussies find themselves backed into a corner. "I think we can take that to another level now and we have got nothing to lose from now on. We have to win three out of three. You can't do that if you sit back and let the game dictate to you. I think you are going to see the team really take on the opposition and give it a serious crack," Finch added.
Samuel Badree, Krishmar Santokie and Sunil Narine all performed nicely for the West Indies crew, specifically Santokie, who picked up four wickets against the host Bangladesh team. The bats have been relatively quiet thus far, so those bowlers may be required to pick up the slack.
