Two clubs in opposite halves of the Spanish Liga table will do battle today in a league match between Real Sociedad and Real Valladolid. The first-division clash scheduled for 3 p.m. ET will be held at the Anoeta Stadium in San Sebastián and can be live streamed here free.
After suffering a shocking and wildly entertaining 4-3 loss to Almeria on Monday, Real Sociedad will look to avoid another defeat to a club in the bottom half of the Spanish Liga table. Sociedad now sit just one point above Villarreal in sixth. Manager Jagoba Arraste is demanding an immediate response from his men (h/t to Matt Law of the Sports Mole). "We weren't good at all defensively and though we did a lot of good things in attack, we lost because we weren't good enough," Inside Spanish Football quotes Arrasate as saying.
"We've been working hard to ensure we don't repeat that," he added.
"It was a real blow for us, but I'm certain we're beyond that now and we're already thinking about Thursday's game, because it's very important."
