March Madness: American's Tony Wroblicky shoots one handed free throws? [VIDEO]

Watching the first round of the NCAA tournament and you learn about the underdogs and their players. Nothing looks weirder or feels more wrong than watching American’s Tony Wroblicky shoot free throws with one hand.

Wroblicky learned to shoot this way of shooting from his coach Mike Brennan after his original way of shooting was irritate, ugly and ineffective. This season Wroblicky is shooting 72.0 percent (85 of 118) entering today’s matchup with Wisconsin. Wroblicky shot just 52.2 percent last season (35 of 67) and the it seems the change is here to stay. (Quotes via Milwaukee Wisconsin Journal Sentinal)

"It was kind of weird in the beginning. But the more free throws you shoot in a game the more comfortable you're going to be with it. It was just a matter of time.

"Coach Brennan didn't really give me a choice. I just stuck with it and it's been working.”

American faces Wisconsin today in March Madness, but it doesn't look like they will be advancing.
