What a difference a seven-game winning streak and having a legendary basketball mind in the front office can make.

After being thought all year long to be a 2014 afterthought based on their underachieving play, Metta World Peace is now predicting the New York Knicks can win it all this season after adding Phil Jackson to the equation.

"If Knicks get in the playoffs , they will win it all I think," World Peace told BleacherReport.com. "It's true. I think Phil will enhance the coaching and playing. And Knicks could come out on top. Ring for Melo."

World Peace speaks from experience, having spent the 2010 playing for the Lakers team Jackson coached to the title. He also spent the first few month of this season playing for the Knicks, before asking for and being granted his release around last month's trade deadline.

With the Knicks currently trailing the Atlanta Hawks by four games for the Eastern Conference's eighth and final playoff spot, World Peace is convinced Jackson's calming influence will make all the difference.

"A crown for the NYC is a realistic vision," World Peace added after the Knicks knocked off Indiana 92-86 Wednesday night. "Watching the Knicks tonight, reminded me of good ball. I already see Sage setting in. Once the sage sets, it's tune vision time."
