Richie Incognito has been released from an Arizona rehab facility and is pledging his love for the Miami Dolphins and expressing hopes of returning to the team.

Incognito voluntarily checked himself into the facility last month for stress-related treatment after experiencing a meltdown during which he smashed-up his own black Ferrari with a baseball bat.

"Returning to the Dolphins was my number one goal from the time I got suspended," Incognito told CBSSports.com. "I want to return to the community in Miami and resume my playing career as soon as possible."

The Dolphins suspended Incognito midway through the 2013 lseason after then-teammate Jonathan Martin went public with his claims of bullying and hazing against the veteran defensive lineman.

Martin ultimately left the team and the NFL hired special-investigator Ted Wells to probe the culture of the Dolphins locker room. Wells' recent findings largely characterized Incognito as out-of-control and also charged that the Dolphins had been complicit in allowing him to get away with so much.

Martin has since been dealt to the San Francisco 49ers, where his college coach at Stanford is in charge. Incognito told the website the news about Martin is "awesome" and he is excited for his new teammate, before quickly turning the attention back to himself.

"Dolphins fans, Richie is well," he told CBS. "Richie wants to come back and play. But the business has to handle the business end, and that's it."
