Two clubs in the top half of the Premier League table will do battle today in a league match between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. The first-division battle scheduled for 12 p.m. ET will be held at White Hart Lane and can be live streamed here free.
This rendition of the North London Derby has taken a more somber tone. Both Tottenham and Arsenal enter the weekend suffering heartbreaking results in midweek European competition. For Arsenal, it was the inevitable elimination from the UEFA Champions League. The club fell to reigning champions Bayern Munich 3-1 on aggregate. Not to be outdone, Tottenham fell to Benfica in the first leg of their Europa League clash with the exact scoreline.
To make matters worse for Arsenal, midfielder Mesut Özil injured his hamstring during his 43 minute shift against Bayern Munich. That, however, hasn't tempered the expectations of manager Arsene Wenger (h/t to the Independent). "It's a blow to lose Özil, but I'm confident we have the quality to deal without him," Weger said.
"We have many good players in our squad."
