Two clubs in the bottom half of the Premier League table will do battle today in a league match between Sunderland and Crystal Palace. The first-division clash scheduled for 11 a.m. ET will be held at the the Stadium of Light in Sunderland and can be live streamed here free.
Inner battles have plagued Sunderland during the week. After Jozy Altidore blamed tactics for his poor run of form—more on that later—manager Gus Poyet vigorously responded (h/t to the Mirror). "Let's see how he reacts. I look forward to seeing what type of character he is. I'd like him to prove me wrong. I'm not a charity, it's up to him," Poyet said. "With me, if you play well, you stay in the team. You can see he's got plenty of things to give, but it's about the consistency and doing it all the time," he added.
"I went to see him with the national team. He's playing in a slightly different system, but in the game against Scotland he didn't score and this week he didn't score. It's up to him, not me."
Altidore will have a chance to prove himself when Crystal Palace visits the Stadium of Light on Saturday. Both clubs are desperate for a win to avoid relegation at season's end.

Tactical Preview
Player to Watch: You can watch him...there's just no telling how much you'll actually see. Sunderland striker Jozy Altidore has been an unmitigated disaster in his short tenure with the club. The American has just one league goal in 17 appearances. That's the same total he had in 28 appearances for Hull City back in 2009.
Sunderland's Projected Lineup (4-3-3): Mannone; Alonso, Brown, O'Shea, Bardsley; Colback, Bridcutt, Sung-Yueng; Borini, Altidore, Johnson
Crystal Palace's Projected Lineup (4-4-1-1): Speroni; Moxey, Delaney, Dann, Ward; Bolasie, Ledley, Jedinak, Puncheon; Ince; Murray
