Is Kane preparing for retirement? Word is that the wrestler also called 'The Big Red Machine' is busy with his new entrepreneurial endeavor which he hopes would prepare him for life after the WWE.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter via 411mania.com, Kane has set up an insurance company with his wife in Knoxville, Tennessee. The said business will offer insurance for automotive, home, recreational vehicles, motorcycle, boat, life and commercial, plus retirement planning.

"He has been telling friends that he has been planning to retire from the ring for a while now, but is having trouble with walking away from the money. He will continue to wrestle as long as he can make good paychecks," the website added. "He has also expressed interest in running for public office as a Libertarian candidate down the road."

Should he decided to walk away from the business, there is no doubt that Kane deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame. He entered the company in the '90s as the brother of the Undertaker, having numerous memorable matches with the latter during the height of the company's Attitude Era.

While he was never the face of the company, Kane was a consistent character in the 90s up to the mid-2000s. He was part of numerous angles with characters like Paul Bearer, X-Pac, Shane McMahon, Lita and Snitsky.

He has slowed down in recent years and at age 46, has not been wrestling on a nightly basis. He has taken on a "Corporate Kane" role to allow him to appear on-screen without wrestling.
