Jermaine O'Neal confronted Blake Griffin in the hallway of the team locker rooms following the Clippers 111-98 win over Golden State Wednesday night.

According to ESPN, the veteran Warriors' forward quickly dressed, then waited for Griffin outside the Clippers locker room at Staples Center, where the two had a "heated conversation" before Griffin could be led to an adjacent news conference room.

As he was led away, the website reports Griffin could be heard shouting to the 35-year-old O'Neal "leave that s--- on the court."

With 8:55 left in the fourth quarter, O'Neal was assessed a technical foul as he walked toward the Clippers' bench and continued talking to Griffin before his teammates and officials directed him back to the Warriors' bench.

All season long, the games between the Clippers and Warriors have been especially physical with Griffin getting ejected when the two teams met on Christmas Day. When asked about Wednesday night's post-game dustup, Griffin took the high road, telling reporters "that's between me and him."

The win was the Clippers ninth in a row, as Griffin finished with game-highs of 30 points and 15 rebounds.

"This is the time of year when you want to be playing your best," Griffin told ESPN. "Our fight has been great. Whoever is on the court ... up 10 or down 10, I think we've come to a point where it doesn't really matter. We stick together and try to pull it out."
