The second day of free agency did not disappoint in excitement no matter what team you cheer for. Sure it was tough to watch the big names not come to your favorite team, but his os good for football. Look forward to day three and hope it was half as exciting as day two. Looking at notable free agents to sign who were the winners and losers?

Winners:

Denver Broncos and New England Patriots: Broncos and Patriots have won free agency if that wasn’t clear by now. They probably won’t be on this list tomorrow and are likely done signing new talent until the draft, but it was fun. Denver gets DeMarcus Ware and Patriots get Darrelle Revis what an incredible new NFL year. Bravo to both teams and they are now the top dogs in the AFC.

Oakland Raiders: I say the Raiders because Rodger Saffold failed his physical. I don’t wish harm on any player, but for the Raiders to get a mulligan on the worst deal of free agency is a gift. Saffold has shoulder issue that needed surgery and instead of committing to Saffold post surgery, they voided his deal. Thats the best move the Raiders have made in 2014.

NFL: The NFL benefits the most from this exciting free agency period. The NFL spread out the combine, free agency, pro days and the draft in order to dominate the offseason as well as when they are in season and it has been a success. The NFL continues to show why they are the biggest sports league in the world and this popularity allows for more innovations in the right direction. Roger Goodell is planning his next great scheme as we speak.

Losers:

NFL Draft Team Preview: Denver Broncos

AFC: If you aren't the Patriots or the Broncos, you have to be feeling pretty low. These two teams stacked up for these Super Bowl runs leaving nothing for the middle market to grab. These teams that needed that big free agent are now scrambling to find answers and those teams looking to make a move to relevancy just got shot down…. in March.

Buffalo Bills: The Bills' offseason rivals that of the Raiders in the sense that I have no idea what they are doing. Day 2 they signed Keith Rivers who doesn’t fir their scheme as we know it and changes will need to be made. They severely over signed for less then mediocre guard Chris Williams and extended average safety Aaron Williams. The Bills watched Jairus Byrd walk away and have been in shambles since.

Notable signings:
Patriots sign CB Darrelle Revis (1 year, $12 million)
Jets sign WR Eric Decker (5 years, $36.25M; $15M guaranteed)
Buccaneers sign QB Josh McCown (2 years, $10 million)
Broncos sign DE DeMarcus Ware (3 years, $30M; $20M guaranteed)
Lions sign WR Golden Tate (5 years, $31M; $13.25M guaranteed)
