Manny Pacquiao is taking on Tim Bradley in April, followed by Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Marcos Maidana in May. While neither of those fights is the people's choice, a Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight is still being openly discussed by Top Rank CEO Bob Arum for 2014.
Tim Bradley studying Pacman, says his killer instinct is gone
"On our side the answer is yes [he fight can be made in 2014], we're very open to it," Arum said. "There are ways it can get done, they have to dumb down the rhetoric, we are prepared to dumb down the rhetoric and get it done. There is no real impediment to having that fight happen whether it will or not depends completely on the Mayweather side. I can see it happening but I can't predict that it will happen because it takes two to tango."
Much of the burden for making the fight will be on Pacquiao, fairly or unfairly, in the sense that he'll need to dominate Bradley or possibly knock him out to make Floyd take notice. He is reportedly training harder than ever for this fight, and new strength coach Justin Fortune said Mayweather can't claim to be the best until he faces Pacman.

Marcos Maidana a real threat to upset "Money" May?
"As far as I'm concerned, Mayweather can't go around saying he's the best until he fights the best and for me, Manny's the best," Fortune said.
Floyd Mayweather facing attempted murder, kidnapping charges?
There are many issues in making the fight, however, most notably Mayweather's total aversion to dealing with Arum. On top of that, bizarre rumors have spread that Mayweather had two employees savagely beaten for stealing jewelry from one of his Las Vegas homes.
According to reports, Mayweather caught wind of an alleged theft by workers hired to work on his home, and reportedly lured the suspected thieves to an off-site location. There, the two men were beaten with weapons including clubs. A source told TMZ.com, "It was some Breaking Bad s**t."
So far there has been no comment from anyone on "The Money Team."
