I can't guarantee this is the weirdest story you will hear today, but I can guarantee that it will come damn close. Rapper Lil B has declared that he believes that J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert are much better than Kevin Durant.

While you let that sink in, here watch this video of Lil B’s new hit single “F*ck KD.”

)

Welcome back. The comparison to Shumpert and Smith came when Lil B was interviewed by SB Nation when he was asked about KD and his single:

“J.R. Smith makes more noise than Durant, to me. Iman Shumpert makes more noise than Durant. I go crazy with Iman Shumpert in [NBA] 2K. I know J.R. Smith has been making noise like crazy. Kevin was thinking about me and he said what he felt about Lil B and now I’m just saying what I feel about Kevin. I don’t respect Kevin Durant’s game. I’ve really never seen him play on TV. I don’t watch him.”

Lil B is either incredibly serious and his analysis is so in depth we are all missing it, or he is a troll. Im inclined to take the sooner. Obviously, Durant is eons better than both Smith and Shumpert. Durant is considered the second-best player in the NBA behind LeBron James. Durant is also considered the favorite to win the 2014 NBA MVP award.

The Beef between these two goes back to 2011 when Durant, a rapper on his free time, tweeted about how he felt about Lil B’s music and more specifically how unlistenable it was. Lil B fired back with a tweet of his own:

Now, I don’t believe in curses but Durant has yet to win a championship. Coincidence? Fortunately Lil B lifted the curse on Durant in 2012, but the beef has not seemed to have cooled. Will Durant fire back? Did Lil B actually lift #TheBasedGodsCurse as Durant remains title-less?

Is Lil B right about Durant? Weigh in on the beef @SportsWN
