Burglars who recently raided the home Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashain once shared may have initially been looking for evidence related to the O.J. Simpson murder case.

Khloe Kardashian recently returned to the residence with "momager" Kris Jenner to find the estranged couple had been robbed of at least $250,000 in jewelry. DesignTrend.com now reports robbers may have been searching for the murder weapon Simpson is alleged to have used in the killing of ex-wife Nicole Brown and friend Ron Goldman.

According to the website, Simpson's manager Norman Pardo believes the heist may have been spurred on by ongoing search for Simpson's golf clubs, which some believe is where he may have hid the knife he used to kill both of his alleged victims.

Simpson was represented by Khloe's father Robert Kardashian and Pardo maintains he is the last known person to be in possession of the clubs. Khloe Kardashian is believed to have inherited the clubs after her father passed and some speculate they were still being kept at the couple's home.

"Rumor has it that the golf clubs were hollowed out and there was something inside them," Pardo told DesignTrend. "I've been told by people very close to O.J. that what's in that bag is worth more than most people's homes."

Pardo later added, "I recently put the word out that I'm looking for them and people have been tearing everything apart looking for them. Are they still buried at his house? I thought, people looking for the clubs went into her house. Khloe was the daughter - possibly - of both Robert and O.J. Is she hiding those golf clubs? Is that what those people were looking for?"
