Derrick Rose remains the Chicago Bulls MVP according to Joakim Noah. With Rose sidelined for a second straight season following year-ending knee surgery, Noah is hearing MVP chants this season as he has somehow managed to keep the Bulls afloat, including during Sunday's 95-88 overtime win over the two-time defending champion Miami Heat.

"I don't like it," Noah told BleacherReport.com after defeating Miami. "No, I don't like it. Because our MVP is not playing. We have one MVP, and that's Derrick Rose. And it's not about MVPs, it's about rings, and one day I hope that we can get one here."

Whatever the Bulls' All-Star center elects to call himself, there's little denying he's performing at an MVP level. Against the Heat, Noah notched 20 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists. Over his last 17 games, he is averaging 13 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists, including a stretch of two triple-doubles over three games.

But still the seven-year veteran insists the Bulls remain the team of the youngest MVP in league history.

"Derrick's a brother," Noah previously told ESPN. "And to see him go through this is tough, but at the end of the day it's really funny how quick people are to judge. But people don't know what it's like to lead a team, especially after you tore your ACL."
