Johnny Football may or may not go number one overall in the draft, but he will the most handsomely paid in the 2014 draft class and will look good doing it. Johnny Manziel and Nike have agreed to terms to make Manziel the companies latest high profile athlete to wear the swoosh.

Manziel girlfriend photo too racy?

The terms of the deal were undisclosed, but reports suggest that the deal is a multiyear deal and will be the most money any 2014 rookie will make in endorsements. The deal comes days after the rumors of Manziel being courted by numerous other clothing companies, including Adidas, Under Armour and New Balance.

Manziel being the highest paid rookie in terms of endorsements should come as no surprise to fans due to his personality on and off the field. Many question Manziels off the field life and there will be no bigger indicator of his maturity then to see what he does when you give him millions of dollars that he earned.

Jaws wouldn't draft Manziel until the after the third round?

Manziel is now a rich man, but will look to get richer in the near future as he attempts to gain possession of the “Johnny Football” name. Texas A&M is attempting to patent the name, but if and when Manziel attempts to gain possession of his famous nickname it should be fairly routine.

Is Manziel a good sign for Nike? Should Manziel be this years highest paid rookie? Should Texas A&M have any claim to “Johnny Football?” Tell us @SportsWN
