With the WWE building towards the huge WrestleMania XXX pay-per-view event on April 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, the company has started making their plans for the aftermath of the biggest show of the year and it seems as though John Cena and Daniel Bryan will continuously be pushed as the No.1 and No.2 superstars in the company.
Daniel Bryan vs. Batista vs. Randy Orton rumored for WrestleMania XXX?
While there is no word on whether or not Bryan or Cena will win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after the event, Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that Cena and Bryan will be the top babyfaces going forward despite the fact that Batista vs. Randy Orton is the main title match at WrestleMania XXX.
There were rumors that Bryan might be taking on Orton and Batista in a triple threat match at the biggest show of the year due to the fact that fans were hijacking WWE programming and Bryan seems to be the most over babyface with the company right now.
After the WWE fans continuously chanted for Bryan at the Royal Rumble on Jan. 26 and booed Batista throughout, there were reportedly some backstage talks about shaking up the card and one idea included adding Bryan to the main event.
Despite these reported creative meetings, the WWE seems to be sticking with a Bryan vs. Triple H singles match and a match that will pit Cena against Bray Wyatt in New Orleans.
Sean Waltman says he will induct Scott Hall into WWE Hall of Fame on eve of WrestleMania XXX
The WWE was planning on pushing CM Punk as one of the top stars, but with Punk having walked out of the company and no signs of him coming back, the WWE has replaced him with Bryan for the rumored match with Triple H in New Orleans and will continue to push Bryan after the big show.
Reasons why the WWE isn't burying CM Punk on TV, why he has leverage
While Cena and Bryan won't be in the title picture at WrestleMania XXX, it appears as though they will have huge roles in the main storylines going forward following the biggest event of the year.
