Joakim Noah has taken on the role of recruiting soon-to-be free-agent Carmelo Anthony to the Chicago Bulls.
The high-scoring Knicks forward can become a free agent this summer and Noah reportedly is already hard at work in convincing him that he should join him and a healthy Derrick Rose in Chicago.
"Look you can to to Los Angeles. But if you want to win a ring, and you want your legacy to be about winning, come to Chicago," Noah reportedly told Anthony during All-Star Weekend in New Orleans, where the two starred for the Eastern Conference.
According to ProTalkBasketball.com, Anthony responded by telling Noah "look, I've been watching you guys. I admire how hard you play. I admire how hungry you are. Oh, and by the way, my son's favorite player: Derrick Rose."
Chandler Parsons reportedly used a similar scheme in recruiting Dwight Howard from L.A. to Houston last summer.
The fiery Noah has been on a tear for the surging Bulls of late, notching three triple-doubles as the Bulls have stayed in playoff contention despite Rose being lost for the season the team having traded Luol Deng to the Cleveland Cavs earlier this year.
