The dominance of Curry and Lee saw Golden State outscoring the Clippers in the first and second quarters by 33-24 and 29-25 respectively.

"If my two guys didn't make a statement, I don't know what else they have to," the Associated Press quoted Warriors coach Mark Jackson as saying. "Maybe I'll hold my own game if these two guys aren't in there."

For the Clippers, Jamal Crawford was the top scorer with 24 points and five assists, while Chris Paul added 23 points and six rebounds. Matt Barnes had 19 points and seven rebounds and Blake Griffin finished with 10 points and six rebounds against the Warriors.

Clippers struggled with their shooting as they made only 29 out of 80 attempts from the field, whereas the Warriors, who won their fourth straight, made 42 of 84.

Similarly, the Clippers had only eight 3-pointers, while Golden State bettered them with 12 shots from beyond the three-point arc.

The Warriors are the only team this season, to beat the Clippers twice.

"We just kind of hit a little bit of a wall," Griffin said. "They completely outplayed us tonight in almost every area."

Golden State outshined the Clippers 20-15 in the third quarter. In the fourth and the final quarter, the Clippers struggled and were again outscored by the Warriors 33-30 to lose the game by 21 points.

The Clippers were playing with heavy hearts as the franchise owner Donald Sterling's 32-year old son was found dead Tuesday night. Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro termed the Sterling family's loss as "first and foremost on everybody's mind."
