Former Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada is several months pregnant with a child fathered by Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford, whom she credits for "saving" her.

Previously Lozada was married to ex-NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson, but their union crumbled after Johnson headbutted her in an incident that caused the Miami Dolphins to cut him and effectively end his career. "I had the worst 2012, I thought my life was over," Lozada said. "It happened so publicly, and then the passing of my brother-in-law, but that entire incident [with Chad] led me to where I'm at now."

Lozada has claimed a major improvement in her life since she began dating Crawford. "I would say my broken bridge led me to happiness," she said. "If I had to do it again, I would because I truly feel complete right now in my life and I wouldn't change it for anything.

He came into my life at a perfect time. Everything that happened makes me appreciate him 1,000 times more and he also makes me a better person."

Not everyone thinks Crawford's such a savior though. According to reports he has two children with another woman, Amy Freeman, who has a nine-year-old son and five-month-old daughter in Arizona. In a move similar to what Los Angeles Lakers point guard Steve Nash was trying to pull last year, Crawford is trying to block Freeman from re-locating to L.A.

Steve Nash blocking ex-wife from moving to Los Angeles, closer to father of her childer, because of potential increase in child support costs?

Los Angeles' child support laws are more lucrative for mothers than Arizona's are, as Nash's case showed. Nash had spent 10 seasons as the point guard for the Phoenix Suns before heading to Hollywood.

The timing of the two pregnancies means it is highly likely Crawford was seeing both women at the same time at some point, something Lozada hasn't commented on. If Crawford loses the battle with Freeman over child suppot and re-location, he should be able to foot the bill for his two kids; the outfielder is slated to earn over $21 million a year through 2018.
