This Sunday, the WWE presents its Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, and following two tag matches being added to the card on Monday Night RAW, it looks as though the WWE has finalized the card while rumors have circulated over what the finish to the matches will be.
The WWE added a Tag Team Championship match that pits the New Age Outlaws against The Usos for the regular show while they also announced that Cody Rhodes and Goldust will take on Ryback and Curtis Axel in the Elimination Chamber kickoff pre-show match.
There have been rumors that Cody and Goldust will split and meet each other at WrestleMania XXX on April 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans in a singles match between the two brothers, and the WWE may plant the seeds for that match at this event.
It's not set in stone that the two brothers will face off, however it has been speculated that they might since they dropped the tag titles and Goldust campaigned for a match against his brother at the biggest show of the year a few years back before they were a tandem.
The main event of the evening will see Randy Orton defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in an Elimination Chamber match against John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, Christian and Cesaro.
It has been reported that the WWE was planning on doing a Batista vs. Orton main event for the gold at WrestleMania, leading to speculation that Orton may escape Minneapolis with the belt. The WWE recently made a big deal out of the fact that Orton has appeared in five such matches but has never won a Chamber match.
While Batista vs. Orton is a rumored match at the biggest show of the year, there have been talks of adding Daniel Bryan to that match to make it a triple threat given Bryan's popularity, but it isn't definite. If the WWE does decide to pull the trigger on that, something may happen in the Chamber to build towards it.
It was also reported that the WWE wasn't high on having Christian in the match and may have him taken out in the back and replaced. One rumored man to take him out would be Brock Lesnar, who is on a limited appearance deal with the WWE that doesn't include this pay-per-view, but the company could decide to work out a deal to use him at the event.
Lesnar has been rumored to face The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX, but the WWE has also showed signs of doing a Lesnar vs. Batista match, though it was reported that such a match is likely to take place after WrestleMania XXX. Batista is set to face Alberto Del Rio at the Elimination Chamber on Sunday.
In other action, Big E will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Jack Swagger, The Shield will take on the Wyatt Family in a six-man tag team match and Darren Young will take on Titus O'Neil.
The Elimination Chamber pay-per-view takes place this Sunday live from the Target Center in Minneapolis and will feature the 17th Chamber match in WWE history.
