George Zimmerman celebrity boxing match back on without DMX? Public protests against Trayvon Martin killer to resume? [VIDEO]

Let the protest start anew.

TMZ.com reports the George Zimmerman celebrity boxing match is back on, set to he held at a secret, undisclosed location on March 15. The website adds an online streaming service called FilmOn.com will now stage the event after initial promoter Damon Feldman pulled out in the face of growing public protest.

According to TMZ, hip-hop star DMX is no longer expected to be Zimmerman's opponent, as the new promoters claim "much bigger names" have stepped forward and expressed their interest in being a part of the carnage.

Promoters add the match is no longer being billed as a celebrity event and is now being sold as a Fight Club like bout... "a very bloody event." New promoter Alki David also claims all proceeds from the event will go to the Trayvon Martin Foundation.

Zimmerman first came into the public space in 2012 after he shot and killed the unarmed Martin as the 17-year-old teen made his way to his father's gated community home in Florida. A self-appointed neighborhood watch commander, Zimmerman later admitted he followed and confronted the teen because he thought he looked suspicious wearing a hoodie.
