Richard Sherman Rant: Colin Kaepernick Blasts Seahawks Cornerback for Post-Game Comments [VIDEO]

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick hit back at Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman who taunted him and teammate Michael Crabtree at the end of the Seahawks' 23-17 win in the NFC Championship game that earned them a trip to Super Bowl XLVIII against the Denver Broncos on Sunday at the MetLife Stadium.

"I think everyone knows his comments were ridiculous," Kaepernick said about Sherman's post-game interview as reported by the New York Post. During the said post-game interview, Sherman taunted Kaepernick with the choke sign suggesting that the 49ers rising star blew the golden chance to win the game for his squad. Sherman also bluntly proclaimed that he is the best cornerback in the NFL.

"As my dad has always told me, if you have to tell people how good you are, then how good are you really?" Kaepernick added. "If you have to go on national TV and try to say you're the best cornerback in the league, then you've got your own insecurities."

During the interview, a jubilant Sherman ridiculed the 49ers after he tipped Kaepernick's pass to Crabtree, resulting to an interception by teammate Malcolm Smith and foiling their opponents' bid for a game-winning touchdown.

As reported by The Post, Kaepernick said he had no regrets with the throw.

"I don't care who's out there," Kaepernick said. "I had Crabtree one-on-one with half of the field to himself, and I'm going to take that every single time. He (Sherman) made a good play on that ball, but if I throw it a foot farther, it's a touchdown."

The word war between Kaepernick and Sherman is fueling what is arguably the fiercest rivalry in the NFL today, and the 49ers star said that he looks forward to playing Sherman and his team again.

"I'll take that matchup every day," Kaepernick told The Post. "I feel like he's afraid of our receivers, and that's something I look forward to [exploiting] next year."
