Tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET on NBA TV NBA fans can watch some up-tempo West Coast action when the Golden State Warriors (26-17) host Kevin Love and the Minnesota Timberwolves (20-21) in action that can be live streamed here. Wolves fans can catch the radio broadcast on 1500 ESPN Twin Cities, while Warriors fans can find Stephen Curry and co. on KNBR 680.

The Warriors are having a fine regular season thus far but their star player, Curry, believes that they need more consistency before becoming true championship contenders.

"We're right there as a team that has the potential to do some great things this year if we can figure that last, little bit of consistency out," Curry said. "We've shown in spots we have the talent to do it, we just have to find that last little piece of assertiveness against the best teams in the league."

That means defending consistently; over a 10-game winning streak the Warriors gave up just 92 points a night. For the season they're surrendering 99.4 points a game.

The Warriors' defense will be tested harshly tonight; the Wolves are putting up 106 points a night this year and the Warriors could be without their starting frontcourt of David Lee and Andrew Bogut as they nurse injuries.

A banged up frontcourt is problematic when matched up with Love and center Nikola Pekovic, who had a very nice game Minnesota's last time out against Sacramento.

"We knew we had the advantage against them inside. After last game, we wanted to keep doing that," coach Rick Adelman said. "We had a nice balance of looking at (Pekovic and Kevin Love), plus getting other open looks." In addition to their size on the inside, Love is embracing a role as a key playmaker. He's upped his assists average to 4.1.

"I've been passing the ball all season and guys were converting," Love said.
