Today at 4:35 p.m. ET on Fox, the Divisional round of the NFL playoffs kicks off in Seattle, where the precocious second-year quarterback Russell Wilson leads the heavily favored Seahawks against former Super Bowl champion Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. Despite employing one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and most prolific in NFL history, the Saints find themselves with few believing in them this week as they enter Seattle's noisy abode, featuring the "12th man." Seattle has only lost once at home this season, while the Saints are 3-5 on the road.

In Week 13 the Saints travelled to Seattle for a Monday Night Football matchup and were shellacked 34-7, as the Seahawks D had a party at Brees' expense. That is all behind them, Brees insists, and they're mentally ready to head back.

"If we want to accomplish what we set out to accomplish this year then we better find a way to go there and win, and just hoping that we'd have another opportunity," Brees said. "And here we are, having that opportunity."

Part of being mentally ready has come from the coaching of Sean Payton, according to linebacker Curtis Lofton. "I feel like coach Payton is putting us in the moment, you know, visualize this is where we're going, this is what we're going to do and this is how it's going to look."

The Saints are not being taken lightly at all by Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll, who doesn't expect a repeat of their first clash.

"I think it's common knowledge and human nature that you would like to think it's going to be the same, but we know better than that," Carroll said. "We need to respect this opportunity for what it is. It's a great championship matchup for us, and they're going to come loaded up and give us a great football game."
