Tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET the Brooklyn Nets (14-21) will face a very tough time trying to extend their winning streak to five games against the Miami Heat (27-9), who are fresh off an embarrassing loss to the Knicks in Madison Square Garden last night. The game will be televised on ESPN and can be live streamed free by clicking this link. Heat fans can listen to the game on 560 WQAM, while Nets fans can hear the action on 101.9 WFAN FM.

Point guard Deron Williams will be out again for the Nets, so the burden of carrying the team will once again fall on the shoulders of Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, two of LeBron James' foils for many years, as well as Joe Johnson.

Teetering on the precipice of being an absolute laughingstock, Brooklyn has not lost in 2014, recently battling for a home win over the Golden State Warriors, who entered the game winners of 10 straight. Garnett credits renewed effort, and a belief in head coach Jason Kidd for the sudden turnaround.

"The confidence is in the fight," Garnett said. "Jason's done a great job of just continuing to explain what he wants out of this offense and I think we're picking it up slowly but surely."

Johnson and Pierce spearheaded an upset of Miami in the first game of the year between these two teams, each dropping 19 on the Heat. Johnson was on fie against the Warriors, scoring 27 points in the win.

LeBron James wasn't in much of a mood to talk after dropping the game last night to New York, saying "They played a great game. They made some timely shots." Head coach Erik Spoelstra said, "All I know about this game is they outplayed us and they earned that win."
