Boston kicks off a three-game road trip through California while Anaheim enters play atop the NHL standings and is 17-0-2 at the Honda Center thus far this season. The first time these two teams met, the Bruins defeated the Ducks 3-2 in a shootout in Boston on Oct. 31.

The Ducks streak of not losing in regulation at home this season almost came to an end Sunday when the team trailed the Vancouver Canucks 3-2 until Nick Bonino scored with 1:27 remaining to force overtime where Corey Perry notched the game winner with 1.3 seconds remaining in the extra frame.

"When you have a belief you can win," said Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau via NHL.com, "you're never out of the game."

Perry (23-21-44) is second on the team in scoring while Bonino (12-18-30) is third. Ryan Getzlaf paces the team with 48 points off of 20 goals and 38 assists. Bonino has two goals and three assists over Anaheim's current three-game winning streak.

Boston notched a 4-1 home win over the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday and now embarks on a trip that sees them play the Ducks, Los Angeles King and San Jose Sharks--three teams that have combined for six home regulation losses this season.

"Well it's going to be a challenge, I've said it all along," coach Claude Julien said per NHL.com. "The players know about it. We might as well mention the fact that they have a combined six regulation losses between those three teams so it goes to show you how hard it is to go there and win some hockey games.

The Bruins have been paced by David Krejci, who has lit the lamp nine times and added 27 assists for 36 points while Reilly Smith has found the twine 15 times and added 17 helpers for 32 points and Milan Lucic has 12 markers and 18 assists for 30 points.

Tuukka Rask is likely to start for Boston and is 21-9-2 with a 1.95 goals-against average and a .934 save percentage while Jonas Hiller is probable to start for the Ducks and is 20-4-4 with a 2.42 GAA and a .911 save percentage.

The Bruins look to start off their tough road trip on a high note while the Ducks hope to keep their undefeated regulation streak at home in tact when the lights come up at the Honda Center tonight in Anaheim.
