Tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN Johnny Football will take center stage on New Year's Eve when he leads the No. 21 Texas A&M Aggies (8-4, 4-4 SEC) into the Chick-fil-A Bowl against the No. 24 Duke Blue Devils (10-3, 6-2 ACC). The Blue Devils had a chance to win the ACC but had to get through Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Jameis Winston. They were thrashed by the Seminoles, and now are staring down the 2012 Heisman winner Johnny Manziel. Manziel finished second in the voting this year and figures to give Duke fits.

Manziel passed for 3,721 yards and 33 touchdowns while gaining 686 yards on the ground, leading the team. He added eight rushing touchdowns to that prolific two-way output. For that reason, A&M enters play as 12.5-point favorites.

"What people are seeing right now is that we got beat really bad by Florida State, and maybe they're thinking, 'Well, Duke can hang in with most teams but not with that top tier," Duke linebacker Kelby Brown said. "I think no one would argue that Texas A&M isn't one of those top-tier teams, so it's another chance for us to show that we belong up there."

Duke may not have a rich football history but Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin is excited to make A&M history. "If we can win this game, it'll be the first time in the history of this program we've won three bowl games in a row," Sumlin said. "That's significant. There's been a lot of football games played and a lot of guys come through this room who can't say they've done that. That can be real special for our seniors and it can really propel us in the offseason."
