Anaheim clinched their team-record eighth straight victory on Saturday and look to keep adding to it while Washington will try to bounce back from a disappointing effort. Tonight marks Ducks head coach Bruce Boudreau's first return to Washington since he was fired in 2011.

The Ducks trailed the New York Islanders 3-1 entering the third period Saturday, but were able to score four unanswered goals en route to a 5-3 victory.

"It was big," said Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf, who notched a hat trick and four points, according to NHL.com. "Our group did a great job keeping our composure throughout this game. We were able to come back and win the third period like we wanted to."

Getzlaf has 43 points this season off of 19 goals and 24 assists while Corey Perry has 22 tallies and 18 assists for 40 points and Nick Bonino has lit the lamp 10 times and added 15 assists with 25 points.

The Capitals are coming off of a 5-4 overtime loss to the New Jersey Devils on Friday night.

"We got a point out of it," Capitals left wing Jason Chimera said of the loss. "It's not like it's the end of the world. ... Three out of four points on the weekend is not too bad, so we have to look at it positively. Obviously it was disappointing, but we have to move on and look at the bright spots."

Alex Ovechkin is tied for the Capitals lead with 41 points off of 30 goals and 11 assists while Nicklas Backstrom also has 41 points off of eight markers and 33 helpers and Mikhail Grabovski has found the twine 10 times and added 18 assists for 28 points.

Jonas Hiller is likely to start for Anaheim and is 15-4-4 with a 2.43 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage while Braden Holtby will probably get the nod for Washington and is 13-10-2 with a 3.00 GAA and a .915 save percentage this season.

The Ducks will look for their ninth win in a row while the Capitals will search for some consistency when the lights come up at Verizon Center tonight in Washington, D.C.
