The Golden State Warriors have managed to extend their good performance during this NBA season after their impressive win against the Houston Rockets with a score of 112-100 over the Houston Rockets on Saturday night for the third win without Steph Curry.
However, their win was controversial since the NBA admitted that there was indeed a missed during the waning moments of the game.
Questionable Missed Call in the Final Minutes
The NBA released a Last Two Minute Report on Sunday, Nov.3 that revealed one missed call in the final minutes of regulation. According to the report seen by Sports Illustrated, officials said that Draymond Green should have been ejected with 1:26 remaining in the fourth quarter, rather than staying on the court until his technical foul at the eight-second mark.
The play involved Green initiating contact with Houston's Jae'Sean Tate, which affected Tate's drive to the basket. This is despite the fact that the play contained an incorrect pass.
"Green (GSW) jumps from point A to point B and initiates contact with Thompson (HOU), which affects his driving shot attempt," the NBA wrote.
In this same play, Houston was able to convert on an offensive rebound.
"Green (GSW) makes contact with Eason's (HOU) right arm, which causes him to lose control of the ball," the NBA said, confirming the correctness of the call with regard to Green's final foul.

Warriors Shone Brighter Even Without Steph Curry
Without Curry, the Warriors showed depth and resiliency in getting those big wins and climbing the standings. The veteran shooter is resting this game with an injury, to be reevaluated Sunday, and could potentially return as early as Monday against the Washington Wizards.
Golden State was able to stay in the game and execute without their star guard.
Rockets Carved a 3-3 Card For the Loss
This tight game brings Houston to a fair 3-3 record, and with that record now they stand as tied with some Western Conference teams such as San Antonio Spurs, Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans Pelicans, Denver Nuggets, and Sacramento Kings. There was some controversy at the very end with an undecided call on the foul in question.
Indeed, as Golden State waits on the possible return of Stephen Curry, their continued ability to play without him will also be beneficial in maintaining their aspirations for the season, especially at present as they try to hold their early lead position within this competitive Western Conference.
The following day, another missed call happened during the match between Sacramento Kings and Toronto Raptors. The Sacramento Bee reported that two missed calls could have dictated a different outcome in favor of the Kings.
