The New York Jets have just announced their practice squad roster for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Read on to see who made the team.
On Wednesday, the Jets completed their practice team by signing 17 more players. All players who made the roster spent the summer training with the NFL team, the official site of the Jets announced.
The Aaron Rodgers-led team will kick off its season on Sept. 9 when they face the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
The Jets did not make the playoffs in the 2023 NFL season despite high expectations, as the team struggled with injuries and inconsistent performances. They finished the season with a 7-10 record.

Who made the Jets practice squad roster?
With hopes to improve its standing this year, the Jets signed 17 more players to help its 53-man main roster get ready for the long season ahead.
The squad was able to sign 17, instead of 16, because offensive tackle Obinna Eze met the international pathway guidelines, the Jets explained.
Here's a list of the 17-man practice squad:
1. Sam Eguavoen - LB
2. Obinna Eze - OL
3. Anthony Firkser - TE
4. Jake Hanson - OL
5. Bruce Hector - DL
6. Jalyn Holmes - DL

13. Jarius Monroe - S

Earlier reports claimed Minnesota Vikings first-round pick Lewis Cine will be signed to the New York squad's practice team, but the final list does not show the 2022 32nd overall pick's name.
The 2024 NFL season will start in September 5 with a match between the Baltimore Ravens and the Kansas City Chiefs.
