That number is the third-worst loss in an NBA Finals history.
It is an interesting statline, especially given how indestructible they have been in this championship series.

They were once down late in the fourth but still managed to come back. At least four players can be the Finals MVP on any given day.

Interesting numbers from Game 4
1. Kyrie Irving's first win vs Boston since logo incident
It took him 13 games, but it is finally over. Kyrie Irving finally won against his former team, the first since he stomped on the Celtics logo on May 13, 2021.
2. The Mavs are outscoring the Celtics in this series
The Celtics have been very dominant but it is surprising to know that the Mavs have their numbers in terms of total score, 408-402. Well, it is only because of this Game 4 domination.
Other numbers say the Celtics got the Mavs figured out.
3. Jayson Tatum is struggling
StatMamba shared that Jayson Tatum is now the only player in the history of the NBA Finals to have two multiple-game seasons with -30 plus/minus after going -33 on Friday.
4. Jrue Holiday has worst +/- in a Finals
Holiday was the hero from previous games, but he was not in Game 4 after recording -38, the lowest +/- in a Finals game since the stat was first tracked in 1997.
