It's time for NBA fans to overanalyze things with the offseason almost here.

Klay Thompson has sent social media abuzz after noticing he no longer follows the Golden State Warriors on Instagram.

It is just a one-minute social media activity, but it might mean a lot to NBA enthusiasts, especially Warriors fans.

That is not the only thing he did. He also removed much of Dubs-related content, including his picture with Steph Curry lifting the NBA Finals MVP trophy when they won their last championship together in 2022.

End of an era for the Warriors?

Thompson appears to be the odd man out in the Warriors organization now. He flopped in his last game, scoring no points in the play-in against the Sacramento Kings.

Talks of his possible departure from the team are not new, though.

All season long, he, head coach Steve Kerr, and Curry were hounded by questions about the possibility of playing more seasons at a competitive level.

They all expressed a desire to be together for more years.

However, the situation is not ideal, and Thompson, with his declining play, is considered the first to go.

The 34-year-old's five-year contract worth $189 from 2019 has expired, and he will become an unrestricted free agent this summer.

The Warriors need to decide if they want to keep Thompson because even if he is not as sharp as before, many suitors are still waiting for him.
