It has been barely two months since Ryan Garcia defeated Devin Haney in the super lightweight division, but King Ry does not seem to be winning for real.

The American boxer has faced obstacle after obstacle since the majority decision against the more favored Haney on April 20.

Garcia, 25, was arrested by Beverly Hills police on felony vandalism. He was arrested at the Waldorf Astoria hotel, where company representatives said he damaged properties worth more than $15,000.

Vandalism that damaged at least $400 merits a felony charge in California.

Beverly Hills Police Department said they received a complaint about an intoxicated person, who they later found out was a pro boxer.

The police have issued Garcia a court date, and the case will be submitted to the district attorney's office.

Garcia immediately released a statement and cited his mother's situation as the trigger to his troubles.

"Ya'll know I've been dealing with incredible stress, pressure, and now the devastating news of my mom's health,'' Garcia said in the statement.

Legal trouble is just one of the latest problems Garcia has to face as he was rushed to the hospital shortly after the arrest, according to his representatives.

His camp said he had medical complaints but did not provide specific details.

Garcia is still on social media, though, and even complained about the hospital where he was rushed, saying it was "weird" and made him drink medicine he has no idea about.

"I'm worried :( I have to be at this weird hospital and they are trying to give me medicine and they have me on a hold for who knows how long, they will determine," he wrote on X.

"Pray for me. God help me."

When fans asked about his condition, he tweeted a response, "I always find a way, don't go to jail not fun."

Fans divided about Garcia's latest tweet barrage

Garcia is asking for help, but the responses are polarizing.

Some people expressed sympathy, saying he needs to count on God and continue praying.

Others are not convinced, even calling him a "crisis actor." Others, too, side with him and tell him not to take the medicine.

Former MMA champion Jayson Mayhem Miller has some advice.

"How do you have a phone. Focus on fixing whatever is going on bud," he said.

Winning does not look good on Garcia

Many issues hound the young boxer since winning against Haney.

First was when he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs before the April fight. This means he could get suspended if proven true.

He has since denied that he used PEDs.

On Twitter, he had a spat with Australian boxer George Kambosos Jr. following comments on X, which many people thought were low.

"I slept with his fiancée (George's girl). I can beat his a**. And he can't do anything about it. I'd be pissed. He still hasn't came out to play," he tweeted.

Kambosos did not let this one pass, called him a hypocrite follower of God, and dragged Garcia's mother, too.

"Shows the classless person you are talking about my wife the mother of my kids," he said.

Garcia deleted the tweet and said he was joking.

Boxing promoter Lou DiBella also dragged Garcia for the tweet, chastising him for saying such a comment on Mother's Day.
