Brooklyn Nets point guard Dennis Schröder has tried his hand, or should we say, his feet, in a different sport.
The German player made his professional soccer debut in a match for FC Germania Bleckenstedt, a club in the Landesliga Braunschweig, the sixth tier of the German football league system.
The 30-year-old played for 62 minutes as his team suffered a lopsided 5-1 loss to SC Gottingen 05, according to journalist Austin Nivison of CBS Sports.
During his latest endeavor, the Nets' point guard is taking on the role of a left winger.
Schroder played soccer and skateboarding during his youth in Germany before deciding to focus solely on basketball at the age of 11.

Schroder averaged 14 points, 6.1 assists, and 3.0 rebounds last season. He began the campaign with the Toronto Raptors before being shipped to the Brooklyn Nets at the trade deadline in February.
