Sparks Rookie Cameron Brink Goes Viral After Meeting Controversial LA Star in MLB Game

Los Angeles Sparks rookie forward Cameron Brink has emerged as one of the city's crowd darlings, and she recently attended an MLB game.

The 22-year-old attended the baseball game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday, May 20, at the Dodger Stadium.

Brink met with Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani, widely regarded as one of the greatest baseball players of all time. However, he was recently involved in a controversy regarding gambling debts by his former Japanese interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara.

The two are notable endorsers of the American sportswear brand New Balance.

Fellow Sparks rookie small forward Rickea Jackson was also present, accompanying Brink, and the two threw the game's first pitch.

The Sparks selected Brink and Jackson with the second and fourth overall picks, respectively, in the 2024 WNBA Draft.
