WWE Monday Night Raw featured a special guest during its latest episode on May 13.

Ring announcer Lillian Garcia, known for her iconic introductions of wrestlers from 1999 to 2008 and again from 2011 to 2016, made a guest appearance on the show.

She was introduced by current Raw ring announcer Samantha Irvin, who has garnered critical acclaim for her authentic and emotion-filled announcing style, particularly during WrestleMania 40.

The two women shared a heartwarming moment in the center of the ring as Irvin invited Garcia to introduce the next match, which she graciously accepted.

Garcia expressed her gratitude to the WWE Universe present at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, before turning her attention to praising Irvin.

"You're amazing. You're doing an incredible job. I am so proud of you," Garcia said on the microphone, prompting many fans to consider the moment a passing of the torch.

Where is WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia now?

In 2016, Garcia stepped away from her full-time announcing duties to care for her ailing father, who was battling cancer.

Despite this, she continued sporadically announcing for the wrestling promotion over the years, making occasional one-off appearances.

The 57-year-old became the ring announcer for the mixed martial arts promotion Professional Fighters League back in 2019.
